President's Corner

February  2008 -Welcome to the President's Corner.

Dear Logistics Professional,

Thank you for checking in to see what is new at ITMA.  We are looking for some strong volunteers to help us with our efforts!  We are down one officer position, our Treasurer, and also have an opening for Program  Director.

Our activities have grown so the Board has decided to  outsource our bookkeeping activities so our Treasurer will truly be in a supervisory role as opposed to on hands day to day.  We still need a Treasurer with strong finance skills, but the work load will not be so great.

Regarding our programs, we have most of the slots filled already, so this Director's role will be to coordinate the events details and make sure we have a back up program.

We are finalizing our Seminars/Workshops and will have the schedule posted soon on  this year's ITMA Calendar.  Please let us know if your company is looking for  specific training and we can be a resource for you.

We've got lots to look forward to and are counting on your support once again.
