Lunch Sponsors Package Includes:
Meeting
Representation
At every
lunch and learn meeting there is a designated area that is elegantly
arranged to provide each Premier Sponsor an individual presentation
area to showcase their company.
We have
14 Sponsor spaces distributed on two 8' tables, and the spaces are evenly
divided to approximately allow for a simple 12" by 36" per
company. UPDATE: AS OF AUG.18 WE HAVE ONLY ONE SPACE
AVAILABLE. ALL SPONSORS ARE DUE TO RENEW IN NOVEMBER FOR 2008
CALENDAR YEAR AND HAVE FIRST RIGHT OF REFUSAL.

ITMA provides
a beautiful gold frame to display the sponsor company name and general
services description or perhaps their company motto. This text can be
provided by ITMA but we prefer that each company create their own introduction.

In this
area, each Premier Sponsor can select whatever promotional items they
wish to display. Typical items include business cards (we provide the
holder), brochures, additional company literature and any give away
items such as pens, pads, cups etc.

The great
advantage with this display area is that the ITMA Board volunteers manage
these areas- there is nothing for you to do! We maintain all literature
in good condition and advise you when your supplies are dwindling. It
is your choice to join us at each meeting, but regardless of your personal
attendance, your company is always represented in a clean, professional
and elegant manner as we will take care of displaying and putting away
your materials.

Rights
of First Refusal
In addition,
Premier Sponsors have the Right of First Refusal for their space for
the following year and for any newly identified special event sponsorship
opportunities! So once you have your space, it is your choice to renew
and keep your space each and every year! (Typically we maintain a waiting
list for these showcase spaces!) And when new individual opportunities
are identified you are given first choice before we address the general
membership.

displayed on the I.T.M.A. Web site.

The I.T.M.A.
Premier Sponsorship Level is the highest level of Lunch Sponsorship
available, which represents coverage at every Lunch Event for a full
calendar year.
Each Premier
Sponsor may have different objectives in deciding to sponsor with I.T.M.A.,
but most objectives fall within the four major marketing/marketing communication
vehicles: sales, promotion, advertising, and public relations. And since
I.T.M.A. is a non-profit 501(c), there is a tax benefit as well.
Companies
choose to spend their marketing funds on sponsoring I.T.M.A. because
we are the most attended International Transportation Organization in
Houston for 'Learn and Lunch' meetings. In addition, our annual Mack
Johnson Memorial Golf Classic scholarship fundraiser continues to be
strongly supported.

Promoting
Corporate ID
Companies display their corporate or brand names or logos on event signs,
website, meeting notices and/or promotional materials.
Target Marketing
Many companies utilize I.T.M.A. event sponsorship as a way to gain attention
from the trade and reach a select audience, hopefully interested in
immediate or future purchasing the companies' services.
Entertainment Opportunity
A number of companies utilize ITMA events as a place to entertain clients.
Through the monthly lunches they bring clients to important meetings
that relate to their specific interest and business, in this way, clients
can see the company as well informed and an industry leader.
Public Awareness
Some may utilize the event sponsorship as a way to create public awareness
of their brands or services by passing out brochures, cards and giveaways.
Image
Some companies realize that event sponsorship improves, enhances, or
changes their corporate, brand, image.
Public Relations
Some companies cited public relations value as a reason why they were
sponsoring an event.
Community Relations
As I.T.M.A.'s main purpose is to raise funds for Scholarships, some
companies sponsor in order to enhance their relationships within our

companies to be immediately recognized and event sponsorship may enhance
recruiting efforts.

Promotional Strategies
The most
important facet of being a Sponsor involves your support of the I.T.M.A.
Scholarship Program. Once a year, I.T.M.A. awards scholarships to qualified
university applicants studying in logistics, transportation management
and industry related business administration degree programs.
Throughout
the year, I.T.M.A plans a variety of high-quality fundraising events
where sponsors get involved. Sponsors get the best results when they
become involved in ITMA events and activities. Don't be bashful - work
the crowd like a Chicago ward boss!
As a sponsor,
you are the host. Take advantage of the opportunity to be an active
participant and maximize your advertising investment.
We invite
you to take the spotlight! Here's how:
- Act as
a Host. Meet, greet, introduce one member to another.
- Notice
the 'lone ducks', seek them out and chat, pass them on
to another member. The objective here is to engage them in
conversation.
- Look
for visitor and non-member tags, help them to assimilate
into the group.
- Talk
to people about relevant industry topics, find out what
interests them, and report back to program director. We want
to keep the membership interested and give them the programs
they want.
- If you
want to be selected for the Sponsor Spotlight at a
particular luncheon meeting topic, advise the topic, suggest
potential speaker and set the stage for your microphone time.
- Create
a target list of companies you would like to get
involved and encourage them to attend an I.T.M.A. event.
- If possible,
use your company's IT resources to forward ITMA
email announcements to your prospect mailing & distribution
list.
- Use ITMA
as your tool to show clients and industry vendors
that you are well positioned in the Houston market.
- Attend
as many luncheons as you can, and when you can't,
try to send someone in your place.
- Be
familiar and keep current with the content on the ITMA
Web site.
- Keep
membership forms with you in your briefcase and pass
them on when appropriate.
- Mail
out an ITMA brochure as a sales tool in keeping
communication lines open with potential customers.
- Bring
a guest when you can. Use your Sponsor Invitations!
- Utilize
the ITMA logo as a link on your website to show your
support, or on your marketing material
